Mani Bhatia, Esq.
Mani Bhatia joined the firm in January of 2011. Ms. Bhatia is a NJ Mediator under Rule 1:40-12(b) (4), admitted in 2009. Ms. Bhatia provides mediation services in Hudson County Superior Court specifically for the NJ Judiciary Foreclosure Mediation Program. In addition to being an Attorney, Ms. Bhatia is a licensed therapist. This unique combination provides for her ability to understand the complex issues in divorce and custody. She earned her Masters from the prestigious Columbia University. Ms. Bhatia studied international social work, and reached the esteemed status of working for the United Nations (UNICEF) in New York and in Switzerland. She went on to earn her Jurist Doctor at Pace School of Law in New York. During her tenure at Pace Law, she did an externship at the Pace Women’s Justice Center. Here she made court appearances on behalf of victims of domestic violence. Ms. Bhatia also pursued courses in Wills and Estates, Tax Law, Elder Law and Immigration Law. Her practice areas also include immigration law. Ms. Bhatia brings with her a unique understanding of different cultures and speaks several languages (Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu). On a personal note, Ms. Bhatia is a busy mom of a tween. She also pursues interest in poetry and, is a patron of the arts.
